Dr. Sherman A. House is the Medical Program Director For Tactical Response. Dr. House began his interest in tactical training at an early age. As a young man he worked in public safety (police/fire/EMS), while completing coursework in emergency medical skills and earning degrees in Criminal Justice, Cell Biology, and Philosophy at Gonzaga University in Spokane, WA, and a Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, TN. He completed a GP residency program in Hospital Dentistry at Metro General Hospital in Nashville TN, Matthew Walker Comprehensive Health Center and at the Sgt. Alvin York Veteran's Administration Hospital in Murfreesboro and Nashville, TN. He is currently completing a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. House is employed in a public health/urgent care practice, as well as providing contracted services as a correctional dentist, and hospital dentist for county, state and federal detention facilities, as well as providing exams and treatment for deploying U.S. troops. He gained his proficiency in firearms utilization through his work in law enforcement and in the private security industry. He worked in a security element for a U.S. Federal Reserve contractor during the WTO riots "Battle in Seattle," in 1999. In addition to in-service and vocational training Dr. House has trained with James Yeager, Jay Gibson, Kyle Lynch, Paul Gomez and Allen Webb of Tactical Response Inc., Greg German, Larry Vickers of Vickers Tactical, Aaron and Rikki Little of Performance Edge, Tim Mulverhill, Drew Irwin and Chris Barrett of Barrett Firearms Inc., Skip Gochenauer of the NTI, Steve Moses, Andy Stanford, John Farnam, Sensei Gary Bush of the U.S. Ju Jitsu Center, John Hutcherson of The Range Inc., and Greg Sullivan of Defensive Edge, among others. He is affectionately known as "The Hebrew Hammer
