FIGHTING STRONG is a 2-day course taught by Tactical Response Alumnus Matt Reynolds, that teaches the foundation of strength, fitness, nutrition, and health for the martial lifestyle.

We will cover the mindset needed to be strong, the necessity of strength for the warrior, how to properly perform the squat, deadlift, bench press, and overhead press, as well as how to incorporate bodyweight and conditioning exercises for optimal fitness. We’ll also include in-depth discussions on programming, nutrition, and dealing with injuries. The course will be both mentally stimulating as well as physically, as you’ll get a ton of one-on-one coaching from Matt under-the-bar and even have some high-energy group-style conditioning workouts with your training gear.

The course is aimed at those who are just starting on their journey to change their lifestyle and bodies physically, though the content provided will be valuable and beneficial for even the most dedicated fitness enthusiast.  The class is infinitely scalable, so if you have physical limitations (bad back, bad knees, etc.), please don’t let that deter you from attending. Matt will be able to help anyone and everyone find safe alternatives specific to their needs and injuries.

GEAR LIST: Solid flat soled shoes for squatting (Olympic squat shoes, Chuck Taylors, Combat Boots, etc.) as well as regular tennis shoes for bodyweight and conditioning-type work. Gym shorts and COTTON tee shirts are a must. If you own a weightlifting belt, bring it – but don’t buy one just for this class. Bring any fighting gear you own that would be valuable to train in; body armor, rucks, etc. – though we’ll be able to provide some fun training gear for anyone to experienc


Bio: Matt Reynolds has nearly 20 years of experience competing in strength sports and coaching barbell-based strength and conditioning. He first totaled “elite” in powerlifting in 2004, won his professional status in the sport of Strongman in 2006, and currently co-owns and operates the strongest gym in the country, ReynoldsStrong (PowerliftingWatch Gym of the Year 2013 and 2014), where over 100 of his members have now deadlifted over 500 pounds. He teaches Exercise Science at Bryan University, has his SSC and CSCS certifications, and has served as staff coach with Mark Rippetoe for Starting Strength Seminars since 2010.  He is an alumnus of Tactical Response (Fighting Pistol, Advanced Fighting Pistol, The Way of the Pistol) and an enthusiastic gun owner. He and his beautiful bride, Rachel, have been married for 15 years, and they have two gorgeous little girls; Cailin, 10, and Kinsley, 5.

To make a deposit through the website just purchase the course in the drop box named "Deposit for date of class you're interested in". After you've made the first deposit and are ready to pay off the balance just purchase the same course again.
